The vineyard: in the heart of the production area of Moscato d’Asti.
The variety: the Muscat is one of the very few varieties that are used as table grapes as well as for making wine. With 10 000 ha of it Asti has become one of the largest areas in the word to cultivate this grape. Its ability to produce light, fresh, sweet and aromatic wines gains more and more popularity for this wine around the world.
The wine: elegant and classy in the nose, with typical fleur d’orange notes, followed by apples, banana and pineapple nuances, plush and fleshy in the mouth, ideal for an aperitif.
The name: the name is a combination of the words «Moscato» and «schiaccio», a verb that is used to describe the intimate distance shortening between people which this wine should definitely help with.
The label: this is the flower of the so called «leopard» rhododendron that can be found in the Parco Burcina in Northern Piedmont.
