The vineyard: the most part of the grapes come from our biggest vineyard in Monforte d’Alba, where our main vineyards with Barbera and Nebbiolo are located. They are picked together well before the regular harvest for those two varieties, specially for rosé.

The varieties: the Barbera and the Nebbiolo are the queen and the king of the Langhe, the two most popular red varieties in our lands.

The wine: complex nose with layers of flowers and berries due to the long maceration. A refreshing summer apperitif that could easily go with some light antipasti, but also with red sauce pasta and pizza. Awesome with vitello tonnato!

The name: «carina» in Italian means «lovely», but written with a «K» becomes a girl’s name.

The label: the magnolia flower is a symbol of tenderness and elegance.
